Comfort Food - Perfect Pot Roast

Sometimes you just need a little comfort food! That was the case last Friday for me. So what recipe came to mind? Pioneer Woman's Perfect Pot Roast. So easy, so wonderful to smell cooking for 3 1/2 hours, and delicious once it is time to serve it up. Nick even gave it high ratings...10 out of 10! Temps in your neck of the woods might be a little cooler this week, so why not give it a try along with some homemade mashed potatoes? Just click the link above for her step by step pictorial instructions...you'll be glad you did!

  3. Thank you! I have used so many of your recipes - can't count how many times I've made the strawberry pie. You frequently have wonderful looking homemade rolls in your pictures. Is the roll recipe online? Lovey

    1. I am such a bread lover...one of my many weaknesses for sure! However, I haven't tackled the art of breadbaking from scratch. I will often buy some from the grocery store bakery, or use Rhodes frozen bread dough balls and let them rise in muffin tins, then bake. Delicious and easy! So glad you enjoy the recipes and actually try them!

    1. Let me know how it turns out Grace! No worries if you don't have fresh rosemary and thyme...I always use the freeze dried! Feel free to add potatoes in the pot too to save steps!
