Involved Grandparents...

What a blessing it is to have my parents nearby and to have them involved in the lives of my children! Last week, Natalie's dance class held Parent Observation week, and Mom was able to come and watch my little girl dance. She loved having Grandma there:

And Nathan had his last soccer practice and couldn't believe it when Grandma and Grandpa showed up:

We were all so glad to have them there, and Nathan loved that they were able to see him get his medal:

And between taking walks with Natalie and playing with Samantha, my girls were pretty glad that Grandpa was there too:

Thank you so much, Mom and Dad, for being involved grandparents in the lives of my children. I'm so thankful that God has allowed us to live close, and that He has granted Dad some healing and healthy progress that you both can come to such special events. You are so loved by me...and by them!!!

  1. I cannot even imagine what it would be like to NOT be a part of Emerson's life. Last week I went to her school's Fall Festival and then to her music class. What great fun...there is nothing better than her "grammy grin" of recognition when she sees me, especially in a place that she doesn't regularly see me; ie, Publix, school, etc. Aren't we the luckiest????

  2. Susan is right...can't imagine what it would be like NOT to be able to enjoy both the little and big things in life with grandkids. They are such a blessing and it is our privilege to be loved by them!
