Before Nathan and Natalie headed for Nana's and Papaw's for a few days, we took a field trip to McDonald's. Our 'campers' are really beginning to get the hang of proper "ice cream cone eating", using their tongues to shape the cone and minimize dripping (Nathan is a pro)!
Samuel sure loves his Gigi and his Dollar Tree basketball hasn't left his hand since he bought it!
Uh oh, a pirate has invaded our camp!
Time to slow down a bit and let Grandpa tell some of his tall tales!
And I leave you with a few pictures of how Jamie and Tara spent their day in Munich. They climbed 306 steps to take in the view from the top of St. Peter's Church. Was it ever a view!
Camp 3G changes tomorrow as our numbers are cut in half and we are left with only "The Littles". More fun to come with these two cuties! Can you tell we are having a great time while Mommy and Daddy are away?
Hi Linda! Thank you so much for your kind comments on our blog! It looks like you are enjoying a lot of time with the grandchildren! We really enjoyed seeing Leah and Kyle and Emery. They are such a nice, young couple and Emery is the sweetest little girl ever! Lauren was watching how Leah interacted with her - taking notes for the future, I think. I read your blog a lot - give our best to Ernie - we feel like we know you both from the blog.
ReplyDeleteI feel the same Kathy. Hopefully we can meet in person one day. Please stop by and see us anytime you head east!
ReplyDeleteThank you again for all you did for the kids! They had so much fun!!! Love you!
ReplyDeleteI think you can tell by the look on my face how much joy these children bring to me. Oh how I love them! I think we did a pretty good job of entertaining (and spoiling) them. The credit goes to Linda though, as she is the one how put in the long hours. When they say "thank you" I always say, "my pleasure" - and I mean it! Gigi
