As our family grows and more little ones are being added, it's often difficult to gather everyone together in one place at the same time. Ben and Alli's wedding provided the perfect opportunity for all of us, so my brother, Johnny, and his wife, JoAnn, hosted a BBQ reunion at their house on Sunday afternoon. Along with the inflatable water slide, and bounce house, we enjoyed time for some group pictures and much needed fellowship. We are so very blessed to have such a close-knit family who love hanging out together. My how we've grown! And to think it all began back in 1949 when David Stout and Virginia Koch tied the knot and had their first son in 1951! We miss "Grandpa" aka "Gramps", but are so thankful to have "Grandma", aka "Gigi", to share the joy with.

We sure did enjoy our time together on that beautiful afternoon. We got to check out the bride and groom's rings up close and personal, hold babies, hug people we haven't seen in a while, eat some delicious brisket, and catch up on life. Many, many thanks to Johnny and JoAnn for hosting!
Yes, thank you so much Uncle Johnny and Aunt Joann! Such a wonderful afternoon!
ReplyDeleteSuch a fun day, it was perfect! We appreciate Johnny and Joann putting it all together for us-- I know that was a lot of planning but it certainly paid off!
