EZ, Mom and I aren't really fans of oysters, but many members of our family are. When my brother visits from Florida, oysters are usually on the agenda, and this trip was no exception. We decided to head here... right in Wake Forest.

The oysters! |

We all ordered different entrees after they finished with their oysters, everything from shrimp and grits, to filet and lobster or prime rib. My pan seared scallops were delicious...highly recommend them! (Too busy enjoying them to take a picture.)

No room for dessert! EZ was able to sit for a little while. |

Good time was had by all! |
The last time I had scallops B asked me some questions resulting in the waitress giving us some strange looks. He wanted to double check it wasn't going to involve any shells following an incident years before where a bit of crab claw took a trip across the room! Looks like you all had a great time. :D
ReplyDeleteI have never had oysters. (Although they just don't look that appetizing to me.) We don't get much of them in Utah. But I would took the grits and shrimp anytime!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your happy times!
whoops thats take not took!
ReplyDeleteIt was a fun night! I am a "newly converted" fan of Oysters and I swear that what makes them good is the Shuckers butter :) Anything is good in that stuff!
ReplyDeleteI would have to say a GREAT time was had by all! I loved having Johnny and Ben here for a visit that was all too short.
ReplyDeleteLooks like such a good time, love having family in town!
