You've Got Mail!

One of the highlights of my kids' day is hearing me say, "You've got mail!" On a normal day, the mail they are looking for comes in the form of letters from the mailbox. But, ever since Grandma and Grandpa have been in the apartment in Durham, when I say "You've got mail!" the kids immediately run to my computer: They know they've gotten an email from Grandpa! He has sent them numerous emails throughout each week and they absolutely LOVE it! Just check out the expressions on their faces below...PURE JOY:

Here is one of the emails that Natalie received from Grandpa:

She is so good about responding back and normally her replies look like this:

"000000000000nnnnnnnnnnnnn33333333333333aaaaaaaaaaaa"

Translation: "I love you too Grandpa. I miss playing with you on your phone. I'm praying for you."

Nathan also has gotten emails from Grandpa. Here are 2 of my favorites:

...and a few days later...

That one gave us all a good laugh:)

But one thing is for sure: Grandpa is superman! He is coming home today and we are so excited! Hopefully it won't be long before we will get to see him and we won't have to send email messages or skype anymore! We love you Grandpa and are so thankful to have you as our Grandpa!!!!
